The Stage Management Company lights up Bradford with UK’s first Flower Carpet installation
In September of this year, Bradford hosted the UK’s first Flower Carpet in Centenary Square. Inspired by Bradford’s textile heritage and its communities, local artist Shiraaz Ali combined archival pattern and symbols for a huge bright, bold and powerful design spanning 29-meters wide – with the finished artwork being comprised of over 300,000 dahlia flower heads.
